The pop singer and wanna-be-actress Jessica Simpson was hospitalized over the weekend for a kidney infection, which was the cause for the Jessica’s high temperature. The 27-year-old star’s rep has confirmed that the star checked into Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles on Friday, where she remained over the weekend for close observation and was later released.
